After nearly 20 years in the printing industry Mike Jazinski was faced with a decision – move his family out of state in order to keep a job in the printing industry or start a new adventure. Just as he was beginning the weigh his options, Mike was asked to Manage Shoreline Taxi for a “short” period of time. He thought that was a sign helping him make that decision.
Mike began managing Shoreline Taxi in June 2008. He immediately knew that this could be more than just an “in-between” job. In March 2009 he made an offer to purchase Shoreline Taxi and on May 1, 2009 it became official.
Shoreline Taxi has 2 eco-friendly Saturn Vues. The newest being a hybrid. The vehicles are kept in immaculate condition to provide customers with an above-average experience.
Customer experience is our main focus. We are not just another “stop and drop” transportation service. Nearly 50% of our business is by appointment. We stand behind our arrival commitments. If we tell you we’ll be there in 20-minutes, we’ll be there in 20-minutes not an hour later. We will also assist our passengers getting to and from the vehicle, getting luggage into and out of the vehicle – we go the extra mile.
We are looking at growing the Taxi business thru advertising and word of mouth, “…good service is hard to come by these days. When you find something unique you want to spread the word…” There are still too many people in Guilford, Madison and Clinton that do not know we exist; we intend on changing that.
We are also looking at Deliver services. We currently deliver baskets for Bishop’s Orchard and are looking at expanding to other delivery services.
We are always looking for unique ways to enhance and develop our business to keep our customers coming back AND talking about the services we provide.
